I like the sound of that too. Still think that the location will be somewhere on the shore of the Pacific Ocean like Big Sur or Monterey.

macOS 11 or macOS 10.12 is certainly less awkward sounding than OS X 10.12 This fits in with Apple's current movement to blend together OS X and iOS and all the other OSes. They've even going so far to make the icons look the same in each OS. Would certainly give Apple some distance from Windows 10.

Monterey, that would be great.

It's kind of disappointing to get another monolith picture on the desktop after Yosemite and El Capitan. At least they've gotten a ways out of Yosemite National Park.

Hope this doesn't start to follow a pattern of 11 years of big rocks. We started with Cheetah in 2001 and went all the way through to Mountain Lion in Fall 2012. Can't imagine the next edition of macOS being named after a chunk of rock again.
