Good thing they only named one OS after a mountain and that is El Capitan... Even then it is a rock formation not really a mountain. While Big Sur and Yosemite have mountains, and Catalina is an underwater mountain, they are not Moutains. Mojave is a Desert, Sierra and High Sierra are areas that contain mountains but are in fact not mountains themselves. Mavericks is a beach in northern CA. The OS's for the past 8 years have been named after locations in CA that just happen to have mountains in them.

My bets are:

Mac OS Sonoran
Mac OS Klamath
Mac OS Mount Shasta
Mac OS Goose Lake
Mac OS Stanislaus

Whitney Mountain Peak
It's not likely. Too similiar to macOS Sierra which wasn't Mt. Whitney but looks similar.
Mt. Whitney is part of the Sierra Nevada range.
