Motherboard
Gigabyte GA Z68-UD3P
CPU
i7-2600K
Graphics
RX 580
Im looking to build my first hackintosh which i will be using for my home studio. I have no current access to a mac, so will need to install snow leopard first.
This is what im looking at:
Intel Core i7 2600K
Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H or Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3P
16GB (4x4GB) Corsair DDR3 Vengeance 1600mhz
650W Corsair Enthusiast Series 650TXV2UK
Sony AD-5280S
120 OCZ Agility 3 SSD

First of all, would these components be ok to install snow leopard and then upgrade to lion/mountain lion as needed? And secondly, could someone recommend a really cheap hassle free graphics card to go with the build?

Thanks

Thanks Nikki51, ive been looking through the recent customac guide but the cards seemed overkill for what i needed. Think i might go with the evga 210 as listed in the sandy bridge guide.

Go with the Z68 motherboard if you need to install Snow Leopard.
