Looks great! The glass is such a perfect finishing touch.

Nice work...

Hi guy's

Here is a Hardware and Software update,

So i bought and installed:

EVGA Geforce GTX660 FTW 3Gb.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130844

850 Watt MS-Tech MS-N850-VAL (Non modular)
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0057GW74O/?tag=tonymacx86-21

I bought this card because i play a lot of games like skyrim and soon the elder scrolls online on Windows but i saw that the card can be used in Mac but not out of the box so i took the challenge.

So after reading this thread>> http://www.tonymacx86.com/graphics/73081-testing-thread-geforce-gtx-660-a.html <<
i did a clean install and i realized that the 660 did'nt work without drivers so after the install of os 10 i downloaded the driver's from here:http://www.nvidia.com/object/macosx-304.00.05f02-driver.html

After the installation of the update's i ran Multibeast and this is what i used.

Then i restarted the computer and my 2 displays worked without any trouble with my left monitor plugged into dvi analog and my right monitor with vga through a adaptor in the dvi digital port I have not tried hdmi.

Sleep and wake from sleep did'nt work so far.

I did some benchmark testing here are the test results of Novabench and Geekbench and Cinebench.

Somehow my geekbench score is lower then the last one, Hmm strange.

My front panel is still broken, I have not worked on it yet after that the glue did'nt work.

Little update.

The frontpanel is soldered and is working again.

And i got my sleep and wake up working with this SleepEnabler kext.

My last goal is to replace the stock intel cooler for a bigger one with fan but it must not hang over the ram.

after that i'll make the G5 plate on the cooler.

Rick,

I hate that your logo is black....

I hope you can help me, I will really appreciate it.

Hoi Robbert,

Of course I'll help you! what is it you want to know about the motherboard?

And I bought a custom made cable for the front panel to the motherboard.
