I just want to check if this build would work fine without me having any troubles getting it to work.
Will the wifi/bluetooth from the motherboard work? Can I still install OSX without an optical drive? Are there better and cheaper parts I could use?

CPU - Intel Core i7-3770 3.4GHz Quad-Core - $295.95

Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-H87N-WIFI Mini ITX LGA1155 - $143.98

Memory - Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 - $149.99

Storage - Samsung 840 EVO 250GB 2.5" SSD - $149.97

Video Card - EVGA GeForce GTX 760 2GB - $234.99

Case - BitFenix Phenom Arctic White Mini ITX Tower - $79.99

Power Supply - Corsair 550W ATX12V / EPS12V - $64.99

Mouse - Apple Magic Mouse - $72.99

Keyboard - Apple wired keyboard - $59.99

Thanks so much in advance,
Matt

Should be no problem. You can still get a new H77N-wifi here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/GIGABYTE-GA...TA3-USB3-0-Mini-ITX-Motherboard-/160891320129
for about 33 dollars less. I've also seen a better price on the 840 Evo than 150 dollars. You can
install OS X Mavericks with Unibeast and no optical drive if you have a Mac or Customac to make
the unibeast drive with.

Cool and thanks! Could I just use a virtual machine instead of a mac?

No, has to be either a Mac computer or a CustoMac that is running Snow Leo
or a newer version of the OS.

I don't mean to be annoying, but why is that?

It's one of this site's rules /policies that need to be followed if you want support
in this forum. http://www.tonymacx86.com/faq.php If you can't find a Mac
to make a Unibeast drive, buy a copy (DVD) of Snow Leopard and install it
on your hardware with the iBoot Haswell method. Then you can make a UB drive
and do the install that way.

One other thing Matt, you won't be able to use an H87n (Haswell) motherboard with
an Ivy bridge CPU so adjust your hardware list to take this into acct.
