My first build: ASUS vs Gigabyte vs ???

I did my first hackintosh a year ago using an ASUS H97 Plus. After one year the mobo stopped working. It has a 3 year warranty so I am still covered. However, I am not impressed by their reliability. I replaced with a Gibabyte board a few days ago. Simply plugged everything and my dual boot hackintosh continued to run with no issue. I have not encountered any problems thus far.

@kazee I've been reading up on motherboards in the past few days. All manufacturers have tons of complaints. My impression is that ASUS has less than Gigabyte, but the difference between individual boards is greater than the difference between ASUS and Gigabyte boards on average. The ASUS Sabertooth boards mentioned by OP seem to have a good reputation, they are specifically marketed as more reliable/more extensively tested, and have a 5 year warranty.
