[My Experience] Sierra to Catalina

Hi,

Im trying to go from Sierra to Catalina. I have updated Clover to the latest version, updated the kexts and drivers in the EFI, then i launched "install catalina" from Sierra. I followed this guide.

Some issues with the installation it gets stuck and gives me this message: apfs_module_start: 1683 load: com.apple.filesystem.apfs v1412.11, apfs-1412.11.7.

Let me know if you need any file or infos.

And im lost i dont know how to patch those.

When opening config.plist in Xcode i cant find EC0.

Cant seem to generate a log there is an error,

do this in terminal first:

sudo spctl --master-disable
sudo mount -uw /
sudo killall Finder

then install gen_debug

no, you don't enter in install gen_debug

you copy it to /usr/bin folder

i used this sudo curl -o /usr/bin/gen_debug https://raw.githubusercontent.com/black-dragon74/OSX-Debug/master/gen_debug.sh && sudo chmod a+x /usr/bin/gen_debug

seems to be working now

cant find any directory on desktop.
