Hello everyone.. first things first..
Specs:
Dell Inspiron 3668 mini tower
Kaby Lake i7 7700
Ram 32 GB
GPU Radeon RX 580
1 TB SSD
Ethernet on board Realtek
WiFi / Bluetooth : M.2 WLAN BCM94360NG macOS compatible.
1 TB SATA SSD
So,

Downloaded official MacOS Bigsur and crated boot up usb drive as per apple's instructions.
I used OC Gen-X to create EFI
And used the dortania guide for kaby Lake to download ssdt (no edit) and config.plist (which I edited as per the guide ).
I went to boot, selected OpenCore and installer gets stuck 5 seconds later.
I have looked around for correct bios settings and I believe my settings to be correct.

See attached pictures of error message and also my specs.

I have also attached my EFI folder..

I can't really understand what the error message is so Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Can anyone help figure out what the error message is all about ?
I tried booting the install without dGPU, but i got same error message.

Thanks

Looks like the problem lying on bootable media.

Please try to use different USB ports & make sure that BIOS configs & config.plist are re-checked.
I have tried booting from either the front or rear USB ports on the machine. same error. even tried removing th dGPU still same error.
I will start over again using a different guide and i will try rebuilding the USB boot drive using a different USB Stick.

Thanks

Well, I am getting more of the installer, however i am getting now stuck on this error.
I did use the plist sanity checker site and everything was ok.

Im, attaching a screenshot of the error message, hopefully someone can decipher this error for me.

warning mutable product symlink creation failed

Thanks

has no one seen this error before ?

make sure DVMT is set to 64MB in bios
hi,

I don't have that option since i am using a graphics card. I'm using th radeon RX580.
My config.plist is setup for dGPU.

Is the error pointing to a video problem ?

Thanks
