My Chinesse Manufactured Laptop

Hi folks,

I have a chinese manufactured laptop which has this specification:
Intel Core i3
NVIDIA GT310M
320Gb HDD
Atheros AR8295 wifi
Realtek 8111 Ethernet
ALC662 Sound Card

and i have successfully installed Mountain Lion with Graphics detected natively, i've managed to enable sound using alc662.kext, wifi using atherosfix.kext.

My question is,
1. which one is better, we installed and search kext to enable those hardware or should we try the DSDT things?
2. if DSDT is better options, what should i do? do i have to extract my DSDT first after i Freshly installed Mountain Lion at the first time? can somebody here tell me the app to extract my DSDT?

Hi there,
Which laptop do you have?? Lenovo?? Btw DSDT is always a better way other than installing extra kext files. You can extract your dsdt using any live linux distro or you can do it in mac itself by this app http://www.osx86.net/view/459-dsdt_simple_editor_dsdtse_v1.4.3.html. Post you extracted dsdt and will help you out.
Also does your nvidia 310m work properly in mountain lion? I have a Lenovo g460 having the same gpu as your and i get system freezes all the time. You can check out my thread http://www.tonymacx86.com/mountain-lion-laptop-support/60850-lenovo-g460.html.

Hi. My NVIDIA is detected automatically and everything works now.. Exept sleep things...
How ever my battery only last for 1 hour and half... I think the speedstep things doesnt work correctly, does anyone know how to check it?

Hi, as usuall i purchase the mountain lion app from Apple then using Unibeast to make the installer and boot from it using PCIRootUID=0 bootflag... And install it on my laptop. After finished then i use the Multibeast things to install the boot loader, then download n install kext to enable the other hardware.. I never touch my NVIDIA, it was detected and fully operational from the beginning.
