Can Unibeast be created on ANY MAC?
Are there special things necessary to make it bootable for UEFI/Clover?

UPDATE: I received 2 great responses. In the meantime I had a chance to get an older MAC Powerbook that I could upgrade to support El Capitan 10.11.6
I ran Unibeast on the Powerbook to install OSX on my Hackitosh. Still working to get it to run without the USB.
THANKS TO FOLKS WHO REPLIED.

You do not need to use a UEFI system to create Unibeast stick to work on UEFI target. My first build has a motherboard with traditional BIOS (GA-P67A-UD3R-B3). I was able to make a Unibeast Sierra stick on that system which boot in UEFI mode, which I then used to install Sierra on my new Z270 build. You will asked to select UEFI mode or Legacy mode in Unibeast as appropriate.

Yes, Clover must be installed in the /efi folder of an EFI System Partition, which is just a FAT formatted partition. You don't need to be booted from an EFI to copy files to a FAT partition on a USB flash drive.
