Hi,

I'm using Giga Z77X-UD3H and @2600k for music production. Recently, my projects have got "bigger and heavier" so it seems that 2600k is on its edge...

I'm going to buy a new platform. I'm considering a combo of X99 + 5820k.

I just can find and afford these models of X99:
- Asrock X99 Taichi
- Asus X99A-II
- GIGABYTE GA-X99-UD4

I don't need onboard sound because I use Focusrite as my main audio interface/sound card.

So which one is the best and easiest for hackintosh?

Thanks in advance!

The X99-UD4 apparently also has success stories :

Thanks for lead me there.

It seems that GA X99-UD4 is a bit easier to setup.

But I'm spending time reading to find out which one is more...reliable. :D

I don't need a lot of redundant features. I just want a stable and reliable hackintosh WS. :D

there is no such thing as more reliable. i have good and bad experience with all these 3 vendors from the past :) do not overthink it. go for what is confirmed to be working
