The error is usually due to the Clover UEFI installer not finding /EFI partition on the destination volume.

I was able to check out the diskutil for where I am trying to install. It does indeed look like there is not an EFI partition, but it still has the Microsoft Reserved:

/dev/disk1 (internal, physical):

#: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER

0: GUID_partition_scheme *120.0 GB disk1

1: Microsoft Reserved 134.2 MB disk1s1

2: Apple_HFS OSX 119.2 GB disk1s2

3: Apple_Boot Recovery HD 650.0 MB disk1s3


I found a guide on mounting the EFI partition, but it looks like it assumes the EFI partition was already there, when mine never was.
 
i have the same problem, can anyone help us?
