Hello, I am very new to all this so please bear with me. I successfully installed OS X using multibeast 8xxx following the install guide on this site [tonymacx86.com]. After install the easiest way for me to get audio working via nvidia hdmi was by using the Clover Config and following someones forums post that had me drag over a dmg. This worked flawlessly.

Although I started to get creative with the clover config and installed a new theme as well as updated the clover version. This lead my ssd boot up time to lag.

So my question is with a working Multibeast UFEI clover install is it bad to use clover configurator afterwards? I was opening the EFI config plist and saving it after making changes [themes for example] but it seems as though it screwed up my original multi beast install.

So now I have freshly formatted my SSD again, used multi beast, used the config to get audio working again and wanna play with the clover config but want to make sure its compatible with multibeast. Are there specific steps that I need to take in order to not screw up my install? Or should I stay away from clover config all together.

Thank you very much!!!

Boot lag was not the fault of Clover Configurator. Different versions of Clover take varying amounts of time to boot to the Clover screen and some themes will not time out and automatically boot. I find it best to delete all themes in the theme folder except the one I want to use. I especially delete the Random folder so the theme stays the same all of the time if I leave multiple themes in the theme folder.

Embedded and the one I want to use, usually either Blue_Mac or Balck_Green.
