Multibeast 8.0 ALC892 install failed

I have installed El Capitan on my Asus Z97 Gryphon (with the latest BIOS) using the latest Unibeast and Multibeast (as of 11/17), however when trying to install Multibeast 8.0 items (listed below), I get the error:

Installation failed
The Installer encountered an error that caused the software to fail. Check the MultiBeast.log Install log for more details.

The choices I have made for my MB build are:
Quick Start > UEFI Boot Mode
Drivers > Audio > Realtek ALCxxx > ALC892
Drivers > Disk > Intel Generic AHCI SATA
Drivers > Misc > FakeSMC v6.18.1394
Drivers > Misc > FakeSMC Plugins v6.18.1394
Drivers > Network > Intel AppleIGB v5.2.9.4
Boot loaders > Clover v2.3k r3320 UEFI Boot Mode
Customize > System Definitions > iMac > iMac 14,2

Should I choose other options? Also, where can I find the MultiBeast.log to see what it says?

Thanks!

Multibeast 8.0 AL892 install failed

I removed the audio driver and it worked.

I rebooted and tried to install just the ALC892 audio driver off of Multibeast 8 and it failed.... so not sure what is going on with that driver...

On another note, I cannot boot without the thumb drive attached. I will go through the troubleshooting thread to see if I can find the issue.

Hello,

i have the same issue with ALC889 and I can't find the Multibeast log

Thanks

You need to open the Console (found in the utilities folder)
TRS 2015-11-18 at 7.42.09 AM.jpg

Then search along the left side for the Multibeast log, It's below ►~/Library/Logs
click on the triangle to open then scroll down to where it says Multibeast.log
Save the log entries with the current MB install info.

Also include var/log/install.log

Same here with ALC898. Thoughts?

Hi there!

I've got similar installation problems here, but probably different causes.
I'm a little bit noob so I'll just upload my logs content and let you make theories about it (if you want to, of course) without trying to make invented suppositions.
Thank you for your work with MultiBeast and in advance for the answer,

JamesMaloney

(Nothing that matters found on install.log, it simply ignores the moments in which I was using MultiBeast)

What is SSDT42.aml for ? Failure to install is showing up at that step.
