SORRY IF THIS IS WRONG PLACE TO POST.
MultiBeast 5.5.0 failed for me. In the past I have had other Multibeast failures but usually I could get system to do what what was required by other means. I recently rebuilt 10.8 from zero using UniBeast 2.02.
I am not knowledgeable enough to understand the errors and their fixes.- I need MultiBeast to run to fix sound problem. MultiBeast 5.5.0 ran twice when I was rebuilding 10.8.0. It failed after I updated to 10.8.4 Error log below {I even failed trying to attach this error log to my comment}. Suggested fixes please.

Thank you MacMan for all of your hard work, it's so appreciated. I still need some help even after updating to GenericUSBXHCI.kext v1.2.6d2 my usb 3.0 still does not work, any other advice?

removed the GenericUSBXHCI.kext from S/L/E folder. Run kext utility. Reboot. Run MB and then select USD3.0 driver only. Reboot and you should have your USB3.0 back.

Article: MultiBeast 5.5 Update

I have 10.8.4 running, be it without sound and iCloud. Used 'older' Unibeast and Multibeast with NulCPUPowerManagement selected.

10.8.5 I cannot get to operate without -x.
The created USB (UniBeast 2.1.1) only runs with -x. So is MountainLion after install. I used MultiBeast 5.5.2. With -x I can install iCloud. But that is about all. Network is causing problems etc.
I used internal GPU to install, but can use my GTX650 Ti as well with GraphicsEnabler=No.
Depending the graphics connection, the system halts at differen point during startup. (checked with -v).

What can I possibly do to get:
- iCloud working in 10.8.4? I tried several options found on this site, but all without success.
- 10.8.5 working without having to run with -x.

Help is very much appreciated or should I just wait for OSX 10.9? (but what problems will that bring?)

What further info is needed for help?

Hi,
thank you for all your work.
After install USB3.0 driver, when i copy some data to usb3 hard drive, i get error after some data was copied, but not all. And this is in console:
2013-10-05 14:29:23.000 kernel[0]: disk2s1: data underrun.

P.S. I have GA-Z77X-D3H m.b.

The audio kext was really unstable on this one, I don't know why but after one min of djing the sound became very distorted and really you couldn't hear a thing... Solved it by installing the APPLEHDA.kext from Multibeast 5.3.1 which works like a charm now... I have a realtek ALC892
