I am having similar issue (same error line in log as in post #5) when running Multibeast 5.0.2 to just enable TRIM. I cannot enable TRIM! See log below.
- Multibeast ends and reports success, but it didn't do its job, i.e., 1- Original IOAHCIFamily.kext not found on Desktop, and IOAHCIFamily.kext in S/L/E not modified. After reboot, TRIM found not enabled.
In Console:
- Install Log: I cleared the screen just before running MB, and found no new entries after the install (would this explain why Multibeast incorrectly reports success?)
- under "All messages", I found the new entries below:
=======================

Note: First 4 lines occur as a burst when starting MB, and I typed the admin password just before 6:46:27.527 PM when it says that setting the front application to Installer was somehow denied (would that mean the installer actually did not run?)
Here below is the full context for my test (in case that helps sorting the issue reported above):
- Hack System as per my signature (Hack 1)
- I am in the process of re-installing ML from scratch on new disk, adding options one by one using MB
- The method I used to install ML this time was as follows:
------ I started from a newly formatted disk, connected as external USB disk on a real Mac and installed ML fresh from there.
------ Moved drive to Hack as internal Sata drive = Drive1
------ On that Hack, I have another disk (= Drive2) with working ML on it, albeit a bit messed up, which is why I am doing it over cleanly. Anyway, I can boot from Drive2 to run Multibeast.
------ Booting from Drive2, I ran Multibeast with the minimal options as per post #1 here: [
http://www.tonymacx86.com/mountain-...65213-post-your-multibeast-5-screenshots.html ]
------ then I needed to fix ATI6000Controller.kext for HD 6450 gfx card, as discussed here: [
http://www.tonymacx86.com/mountain-...6xxx-gpu-issues-fix-inside-16.html#post403230 ] (I copied original ATI6000Controller.kext on desktop, deleted S/L/E/ATI6000Controller.kext, then ran KextBeast)
------ then edited org.chameleon.Boot.plist to add AtiConfig = Pithecia
------ then Reboot from Drive2, --> OK, Hack working fine from Drive2
------ Then ran MB to install AHCI_3rdParty_eSATA.kext for Marvell chip, then Reboot --> OK, Marvell Sata ports working fine.
At this stage, TRIM not enabled yet, so I ran a new MB pass just to enable TRIM and issue above occurred. The previous passes of MultiBeast did their job alright, but not TRIM Enable.
After rebooting, I tried again enabling TRIM the same way with same negative results.
Note that it seems odd that Multibeast reports Installation SUCCESS, while in fact it FAILS, or apparently it does't really run at all if I guess the log file correctly. Should I make a bug report for this under Multibeast?
But my main issue of the moment: How to enable TRIM if MB fails? I am going to lookup methods used for real Macs...
[EDIT] Follow-up: As suggested by ShadowOfTheBeast in Post #6, I tried again while also checking off "UserDSDT or DSDT-Free Installation", as well as TRIM.
Still no success. I got the following 2 new lines in the log:
