I tried Multibeast 10.2 on a High Sierra 10.13.1 installation.
Motherboard: ASUS H81M-PLUS
CPU: Intel Core i3-4330 Box, LGA1150, HD4600 Grafik Haswell
RAM: 8 GB
Type: iMac 14,2
Multibeast setup file is attached: Multibeast102_H81M_HSierra.mb

Result: The installation failed.
Multibeast.log:
12/31/17 18:52:37 - Starting MultiBeast 10.2.0-20171217
12/31/17 18:56:15 - Installing 'Bootloaders > Clover UEFI Boot Mode'
12/31/17 18:56:18 - Installing 'BootVolume'
12/31/17 18:56:19 - Copying 'apfs.efi'
12/31/17 18:56:19 - Copy of 'apfs.efi' failed.
'Failed copying apfs.efi'. Exiting.

It would be nice to mention in the failure window the path to Multibeast.log:
see ~/Library/Logs/Multibeast.log

What can I do, to avoid this error?

I'm also getting this same error with multicast 10.2 when trying to re-install the ALC Realtek drivers after updating to high Sierra.

I also have my system definitions set to iMac 14,2

Should I not even try to re-boot at this point since the installation failed?

I had the same issue, turns out I had the EFI partition mounted already.
I unmounted the EFI partition and it worked fine.

Thanks dijitaltrix!!
I have the EFI partition mounted too and Multibeast don't work!
Unmounted partition and all works fine.

I'm getting the failure on the apfs.efi as well. Yes, I had EFI mounted (for some reason?) so I unmounted it. Now when I run Multibeast, It fails at the "Installing 'BootVolume' step (the step just before it was failing at "Copying 'apfs.efi' (as shown in the OP).
