multi GPUs support

hi, im trying to build a hackintosh so i can use it for color grading with Davinci resolve. Davinci as you know supports mutli GPUs, already has GTX 780 Ti for GUI, and 2 GTX Titan for image processing, my question is, does El capitan support 3 GPUs? i have been told Yosmite supports only 2 cards. hope someone can answer back.thanks

Yes, it should support it. The issue is how well your board will configure the PCI's in conjunction with the OS. I have two fully functioning cards, however, I have a weird glitch in mine where I need to have a third GPU installed to get the other two recognized. The third one is sacrificial. I'm currently working on a solution to it. The best thing to do is just start trying stuff. I know that's not much help if you haven't built your system yet. So I recommend looking at the Golden builds or building something from the buyer's guide that can support 3 GPU at 16 (if possible) and maybe even a post in the buyers advice area.
