I was wondering if someone can help confirm something for me please

I have got my Hackintosh working except for BT/WiFi and based on this post

http://www.tonymacx86.com/bios-uefi/143167-msi-9-series-motherboards-os-x-setup-configuration.html

I believe my motherboard is in the same family so should have a BCM94352/AE-CE123H WiFi module installed

However when I follow this guide for a KEXT install

https://github.com/toleda/wireless_half-mini/tree/master/airport_kext_enabler

No new devices are found on restart :(

Can someone confirm I have the BCM94352/AE-CE123H WiFi module on this MB? As I could be trying to debug something that is totally wrong

ps. I am using this KEXT - bcm4352.kext

I got the information from this guide

http://www.tonymacx86.com/bios-uefi/143167-msi-9-series-motherboards-os-x-setup-configuration.html

Looking at the MSI website. All the Wi-Fi/BT modules are based on the Intel 7260 chipset.

So not sure why an official article has incorrect information posted

ps. I got WiFi and BT working with external USB devices so no big deal. Just frustrating as one of the main reasons I chose the board for my build was based on native WiFi and BT support

Yes it's the Z97i and besides having the WORST placement of connectors I have seen for a Mini-ITX board it was a fairly painless process to get Yosemite up and running

I have the same Wifi/BT module and reading the MSI website I see nowhere where it says the WiFi Card is a Broadcom BCM94352. All references on the detail specs say the modules are the Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 chip

Or maybe I am just reading it all wrong :crazy:

you can check it with linux live CD/USB http://releases.ubuntu.com/14.10/

issue the command

lspci or lspci -v

it will list all the devices
