MSI Z97 Gaming 5 - black screen after wake from sleep HD 4600

Hi,

having trouble to get wake from sleep to work :-/ After choosing "System->Sleep" I wake it using the power button but the screen remains black (I am using the integrated HD 4600 graphics - i7-4771). The IO activity LED shows some activity but then remains on and the system is stuck - the only thing to do is to hard reset at that point.

Would appreciate any pointers!

P.S.: "System->Restart" takes a very long time (several minutes) - not sure if that's related or not...

same problem Haswell i7-4790 Z97 (gigabyte).
