I have this board and an Ivy Bridge CPU with Intel HD4000 + Radeon HD6850. My Apple Thunderbolt Display will be connected to the Thunderbolt Output of the Board (i.e connected to the HD4000).

Will OS X detect both graphics and automatically switch to the dedicated graphics when necessary but still output the picture through the thunderbolt (internal graphics)?

I will install Mountain Lion through Uni Beast.

No.

Is there a way to tell OS X which graphic card to use? How do the original macs with 2 graphic card do the switch?
