Success at last!
I installed the graphics card, the firewire card and a usb card, pulled the data disks from my old rig and everything is up and running smooth. I keep my home folders on a separate disk from the SSD so I just move them over and point my user name to that folder. My Windows disk boots fine as well. I just had to update the drivers for the chipset and video card. Now I can dual boot Mac or Windows 7.
