Hello,

I am having trouble booting Mavericks on a MSI motherboard MSI Z68MA-G45(B3) with latest BIOS. Maybe this is a simple issue but I have tried to use different Multi Beast Settings, but failed.

The process halted at these lines:
Code:
[FONT=Helvetica Neue]Waiting for DSMOS...
Sound assertion in AppleHDAEngine at line 581

The booting took around 3 minutes, or more.

Here is my Hardware List:

  • MSI z68MA-G45(B3)
  • i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz
  • M-Audio Audiophile192
  • NVIDIA GeForce210
  • USB 3.0 rear I/O ports by NEC® D720200
  • Ethernet by Realtek 8111E
In order to make the audio work, I also installed "Envy24HT_SnowLeopard.0.14.0" which works fine.

My Multibeast Config is

Code:

Can anyone help?

Thanks!

I have also experienced really slow boot up for Maverick 10.9.3 and have nailed it down to the 10.9.x TRIM Patch in Multibeast 6.3.0.
So I have a 240GB OCZ SSD, but without the TRIM it boots in about 10 seconds.
With TRIM it take about 3 mins!

Does anyone have a fix for this?

Thanks,
