This happens when we use product name MacPro7,1 without RestrictEvents.Hello;
I'm getting "1 alert" in About menu like this.
View attachment 564622
When I click on "About" I got "!" in memory
I suspected that this may the culprit. But when I click on that "!"
It seem like there is nothing wrong about the memory mapping.
Any ideas?
@NorthAmTransAm
Thanks.
But once we see “1 alert” next to About this Mac, we haven’t found a way to remove it other than by reinstalling macOS with either (a) custom memory mapping specified in config.plist or (b) RestrictEvents.kext added and enabled. Then we have to reinstall our apps and manually transfer all our files to the new system. If we use Migration Assistant, the “1 alert” message comes back.
If anyone has found a way to clear that alert message without doing a fresh install, please let us know.
