Want to know if the laptop mentioned above is hackintosh compatible ?
Hardware
- Intel i7 8850 six core CPU,
- 18.4" FHD (1920x1080), IPS-Level Display
- 64 GB memory
- 2x GeForce® GTX 1080 with 8GB GDDR5X SLI,
- Intel 9260 AC Wifi-WLAN-Card (not compatible, I know)
- Killer GB LAN,
- 2x Samsung 960 pro 1TB M.2 SSD Combo (NVMe PCIe Gen3) RAID0-volume (Windows 10 prof.)
-> Will this RAID0-volume be visible in Clover ?
- 1x WD 1TB M.2 SSD slot (SATA) -> for MacOS High Sierra ??
- LG Bluray/DVD-CD-Writer

High Sierra would be the one to try, unless you also have intel graphics (check windows device manager -> display adaptors)

your intel wifi won't work though

Thank you for the reply.
No, an INTEL graphics display isn't available.
Will the RAID0 volume (Intel RAID Storage with Windows 10 prof.) be visible and bootable with Clover ?

you may need to use SATA-RAID-unsupported.kext

It's a miracle.
I've attached a Carbon Copy cloned SSD of my desktop hackintosh (High Sierra, SMIBIOS 18.3) via USB on the laptop. It boots both in Windows 10/ MacOS. Both operating systems are recognized in Clover. Even the RAID0 volume is recognized and bootable.
In MacOS several USB 3.0/3.1 ports are working. Memory is identified to be 64GB. The Nvidia webdriver recognizes both 1080 mobile graphic units (SLI) and full acceleration is available. HDMI-Out works.
The following devices are not being recognized:
- Synaptics touchpad, I have to attach a Logitech mouse.
- Killer E2500 LAN device -> are there drivers for MacOS ?
- INTEL 9260 Wifi-Card -> was clear
- Thunderbolt
Probably I have to set the SMIBIOS to MacBook pro ? What do you recomend ?

coffee lake processor, i would try MacBookPro15,2

Killer LAN: AtherosE2200Ethernet should do the job

VoodooPS2Controller.kext may help with your touchpad

not sure on your thunderbolt though, you may have to have a search around on that one

well done on getting things working

make sure to setup your USB ports properly:
