I have MSI GF62VR 7RF laptop. My sound card is not showing. The laptop is using ALC898 codecs.

I just extracted the codec dump from linux. The guide is difficult for me.

It is Realtek ALC899 (0x10ec0899). Use Mirone's AppleHDA patcher.

The Mirone tool doesn't support ALC899 unfortunately. But the codec dump says ALC898. So maybe a re-branded model?

Might be very similar to ALC898.

The guide also doesn't expalin what to do with MironeAudio folder. I searched on youtube and tried but didn't work for me.
