It's my first time building a Hackintosh (and by building I mean buying another SSD for my PC and installing Mac OS X on it) and so far everything has worked pretty well, except for the mouse. The mouse itself works, but it's lagging really hard.

I tried several things so far:
  • kextunloading the AppleUpstream something kext
  • SmoothMouse and several other applications
  • running a script to disable mouse acceleration
  • install Logitech Gaming Suite

My mouse is a Logitech G502, btw.

I've seen this issue reported online, but no fixes worked. Do you guys have any idea how I might fix this? Almost forgot, I am running El Capitan 10.11.3.

Hi, i've got the same thing here since i've changed my graphic card from ATI HD 6850 (had to change because fan was very noisy) to my old ATI 5770 much more silent, its completely recognized in about that mac window, and works fine, the only thing is : mouse is laggy, or "skips" to be more precise its very strange would really like to understand why.

I've installed El Cap on GA H67MD2B3 8GB ram cpu Intel Corei3 3.39ghz using clover bootloader

TIA

ok so just found a way to have "normal " mouse behaviour back, actually i've just unchecked "ati" in ACPI and "Inject ATI" in GRAPHICS both from Clover Configurator panels, reboot and my mouse is normal now, I just noticed in 'About That Mac' window my ATI radeon 5770 was no more listed, instead i've got ATI radeon 5000 series; other than that every thing seems ok, all apps works normal, games etc..

If that can help someone
;-)

I want to add I recently had this issue, too, and wanted to give others a solution to try. My graphics card is the HD530. It seems to be solved by ig-platform-id 0x19120000 and Inject Intel true. On 10.12.4, Graphics now reads Intel HD Graphics SKL CRB 1536 MB.

Hey folks! Similar issues here.
Got everything up and running with the hardware listed at the bottom of this post and everything seemed fine until my wired mouse started jumping around randomly. I noticed it only goes crazy when I have 1 or more programs open or open several safari windows.
Watch this video to see what I'm talking about:

How should I proceed with troubleshooting? I've created a custom USB SSDT so that shouldn't the issue.
