Mouse and keyboard sometimes hang on startup

Are you referring to an internal or external keyboard?

And what brand/model of mouse are you using? Which USB port is it plugged into? Or is it a bluetooth mouse?

It is not a big problem. It hangs like once in 25 times.

Did you try EC reset? All of my hangs/restart can be fixed by it.

It is pretty common for USB devices to not work on boot every once in a while. Just unplug/replug the device. There is no known solution -- and... I've seen it happen on Windows too, so it is probably a hardware/BIOS problem and thus in HP's hands.

Did an EC reset.

Hoping that I don't get any more hands in future.
