Mounting Thermaltake PT40-D5 pump/radiator in Thermaltake Core V21

I started a new built (spring is around the corner) and I opted for a Thermaltake Core V21 (ATX) case and their new water cooling solutions. I went with the RL-240 Kit which has all the basics. The problem I ran into was the pump/reservoir seemed to be too large for the case. With a little thought I was able to successfully mount the system perfectly. Tools and materials required.. electric dril, 2 old expansion slot covers.

System filled with coolant... Need to clear micro bubbles (foam) from system. So far so good.
I will do a "User's Build" once the system is complete.

I am in the planning stage of a water-cooled rig to be built into the same case, so I have some questions:

1. Is there no room to mount the reservoir vertically to the side of the front 200mm fan? That is where I placed it in version 1 of my plan. (Version 1 not yet checked with component mockups.) I am asking this because I am not a fan of horizontal reservoirs.

2. Why is the pump top/radiator coupling so long relative to the total combination pump-res length? Seems excessive compared to, e.g., the PrimoChill CTR-D5 combo setup I have spec'ed in my plan version 1.

3. I have not seen performance numbers for the TT CPU block. How is the performance in your build? In my version 1, I initially spec'ed a HeatKiller block.

4. I will also use an EVGA GTX 750Ti with an EKWB GPU block (absolutely not needed, used only for the "bling factor" ;) I was planning to post the build in another forum, but I may do an abbreviated posting here for comparison to yours.

Thanks for posting!
