the guide states for 10.8.2 or later and mentions 10.8.5 a lot.
Im on 10.8 and my audio isnt working. Any ideas, or guides to show me what i need to do?

Post #1, Installation - MultiBeast_5.1.1 or newer
Download/Software,MultiBeast Archive, use the MultiBeast for 10.8.

Update 10/12/13 - 10.8.5 Supplemental 1.0/MultiBeast 5.5.3 and newer supports
1. ALC887_v100302 Mute
2. ALC888_v100302 Mute
3. Haswell/HD4600 HDMI audio

just realized mute now works on my system. Thanks so much!!

Hi! I just built a system with Mountain Lion 10.8 and ALC887 is not working, I can see both soundcards on DPCI Manager correctly listed (ALC887 and HDMI audio) but I have no output devices on sound settings.

Any sugestions will be very much apreciated because I followed all the steps of this thread with no luck...

Nevermind, it's solved.

I just used AppleHDA.kext and HDAEnabler.kext from another install with ALC887 and it's working.
