Mountain Lion: Optimized AppleHDA for Realtek ALC8xx

Status

My config is:
MB: Gigabyte ga-z68ap-d3 Rev. 2.0 with UEFI (Ua5), I guess it has a Realtek ALC889 HDAudio chip.
CPU: i7-3770k with HD4000 (I don't care about HDMI audio since I want to use OSX controls for volume etc...)

I used multibeast 5.1.2 since I upgraded to OSX 10.8.2
(I had sound working in 10.8.0 using multibeast 5.0.2)

UEFI means I used multibeast without dsdt...

In S/L/E I have:
AppleHDA.kext v2.3.1
HDEnabler1.kext v1.0.0d1

after reading (http://www.tonymacx86.com/audio/763...o-solutions-problem-reporting.html#post472934) here is some useful info:

Step 4.h : my audio ID is 1. My best guess is that it should be 3, right?

Dropbox is not working; blank page, no download. For 889 audio, Audio ID 1 is correct.

On my GA-Z68-D3H-B3 UEFI BIOS (ALC889) I have a semi-reproducible problem where using the line-in port with a 3.5mm-connected Mic freezes up programs 50% of the time. Other programs that don't require sound input or output remain usable, but any program with sound output or input hangs.

Could this be because I installed layout ID 3 (motherboard only has 3 ports in the back and 2 in the front) instead of 1?

The bizarre part is that when it doesn't freeze, it works perfectly fine.

Are you using the motherboard/blue/line in port when this problem occurs?

Dropbox should be working now (I double checked from a friend's computer).

If Audio ID 1 is correct, I don't understand where the problem comes from :s
Everything else looks fine...

What is the problem?

well, I get no sound... nothing comes out of the speakers/headphone.
It looks like 660 HDMI audio codec is interfering. The enabler may be the problem. May have to go to a dsdt/HDEF/layout-id to solve.

I'm using the pink 3.5mm input connector on the front of my case. If you think it would help, I could try the blue or pink ones on the rear of the case / motherboard.
