Hi all

I have just bought a new computer with an i7 6700 and a Gigabyte Z170-HD3P. El Capitan runs without any problems, but I have just realized that pro tools 10 HD doesn't work with this operating system.

So I have tried to use my old USB Mountain Lion install drive (that currently works with a old Ivy Bridge computer) and I don't reach the installer. It freezes in the Apple logo white screen, no matter what flag use (-x -f -v ncpi=0x1000 or 2000 or 3000 GE Yes or No PCIRootUID 0 and 1 ...)

So... I'm wondering if it is possible to install ML on a Z170 and skyline system...

Thanks to all

You cannot install any other version of OS X other than El Capitan at this moment. The hardware is not backward compatible. To run Mountain Lion Ivy Bridge works very well. First generation of Haswell (8 series board and CPU) should be possible, but it is not guaranteed.

Many thanks, Adrian.
