Thank you for bringing this to my attention. Download is updated.

 and thank you for bringing to my attention that I don't need to carry on editing the Capri kext and the SNBFB kext - the DSDT edit saves me some work (though I still need to edit the framebuffer hex file for HDMI, but less work is always better!).

I have two HDMI - one on port 5 and one on port 6.....at the moment I am using the framebuffer edit that you gave for the Lion HDMI, MacMini and am using port 5. I hadn't tried changing that as it works fine for me, but it'd be nice to have audio on both the HDMI ports.

For dual HD4000 HDMI audio, two steps:
1. Edit Capri for two HDMI audio connectors (ports 5 and 6 in your case)
2. Edit AppleHDA/Contents/Resources/Platforms.xml.zlib, Item 11/PathMapID 392/PatMap/Delete one:
2a. Item 3 (Black LineOut) or
2b. Item 4 (SPDIF Out).

Hi Toleda,
No I'm one of those awkward people using HD 3000 on 7 series....but is there a "how to" that I missed somewhere for editing the SNBFB kext for 2 HDMI?

Thanks Toleda,

Thanks to you I now have HDMI audio via HD 3000 on my Zotac Z77 board on ports 5 and 6. I have a question that I would just like you to check for me though please.

The search and replace I did was as follows:

Find:
00 02 03 00 00 00 00 00 ff ff ff ff
02 05 00 00 00 04 00 00 07 00 00 00
03 04 00 00 00 04 00 00 09 00 00 00
04 06 00 00 00 08 00 00 06 00 00 00

Replace:
00 02 03 00 00 00 00 00 ff ff ff ff
02 05 00 00 00 08 00 00 06 00 00 00
03 04 00 00 00 08 00 00 06 00 00 00
04 06 00 00 00 04 00 00 07 01 00 00

The third connector on my board is Display Port at Port 7. I cannot test the DP connection as I don't actually have a display that uses it, but I want to make sure that my edits have not disabled that connector (in case I want to use it in the future). Can you just have a quick look and let me know if the framebuffer edit I did here looks okay?

Many thanks for your help on this.

Great work. The easiest way to confirm DP is with a DP2HDMI adapter. It will have HDMI audio also assuming you have at most 2 displays attached.

Thanks Toleda. Got DP/HDMI adaptor in post today. Needed to make a small change to my edit above (post changed to correct) and now have audio via all the ports (HDMI x2 and DP).
