Hello Everyone,
I have a rather strange issue. I have two Dell Inspiron 530 machines (Intel Core 2 Quad) everything is standard on them with the exception of the Video Cards, Both have after market Nvidia cards. I was running lion on both machines without an issue and can reinstall Lion easily.
Here is the problem, I purchased Mountain Lion, made the bootable USB stick using UniBeast, I get to the Install screen just fine, the computer installs Mountain Lion all the way to about the last 3 minutes then I get a screen saying Install Failed! I get this message on both machines even after making two different USB sticks using two different downloads of Mountain Lion.
I have tried the following
removing the video cards
Changed bios settings (Raid to IDE, there is no ACHI on my mother boards bios)
Removing and testing with just one stick of ram.
Any ideas on how I can get past this issue?
Thank you,
J
