I'm a noob.
I just replaced my old GA-Z77-DS3H motherboard with a GA-EX58-UD3R. I tried starting it up but when it got to the Windows logo it stopped and the computer restarted.
That had happened once before and all I had done to fix it was boot the Mac in safe mode. (-v -x) I tried that and it stopped halfway too.
I have no idea what to do now. Please help.
Thanks,

(I accidentally recommended the thread, sorry)

If you can't load Windows, then you might need to do a fresh install or boot it in safe mode and uninstall any motherboard drivers that were previously installed.

Thanks, I'll try that.

There's a problem. When ever I start the computer it shuts down even before I get to start the PC in safe-mode to uninstall the mobo drivers.

I'll just back up my stuff, reformat the drives, and re-install everything. Thanks for you help though,

did you delete the dsdt you were using before?

I'm stuck right now. I can't do ANYTHING. My computer will randomly turn off in about 1 minute after I push the power button...
