When it comes to fan noise of graphics cards, which one is most silent under load? (fanless models aside)

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1050 Windforce (Ti) (OC) (G1 Gaming)
ASUS ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1050 (Ti) (OC)
EVGE GeForce GTX 1050 (Ti) SSC
MSI GeForce GTX 1050 (Ti) Gaming

These are all equipped with two bigger fans and can run on zero fan mode (fan stop) on idle.

I want to use it in an audio workstation with less emphasis on video.

Maybe someone has gained experience with one or two of them and provide us with information. Thx

Tough one. However, while not pushing them to the max they usually are all silent, because the fans don't spin.

But if you need a bit of GPU power and don't want the noise, you can also consider getting a more powerful card. Let's say you need 100% of a 1050 GPU power. That would mean it would spin up and make a sound. 100% of 1050 power might translate to 50% of a 1080. A 1080 running at 50% might not even need the fans to stay cool.

That said you have a lot of control over the fans (in windows). You can prevent the fans from spinning untill the GPU hits 75c for example.

I've got a MSI 1060 and it's quiet all the time, expect for when I game.
