MONO AUDIO

Having successfully finished my hackintosh, I couldn't help but notice the audio is always in mono. How do I fix this?

Also, I am using the headphone jack on the back as a connection for my speaker system.

Mono, a or b?
a. both sides sound the same
B. one side has sound and the other does not
