Hi All,

Recently built my first hackintosh and now I have just one remaining issue.

If I put it to sleep (manually, for testing) the tower will go to sleep properly, all fans stop all lights go out etc. As soon as I press a button on my keyboard all the fans lights etc come back on and the tower appears to be running again. But the monitor takes a very long time to wake up and sometimes I having given up waiting for it to come back on and had to hit the restart button.

I thought it could have been a bios issues but I have set it back to optimized defaults and changed settings as seen here (http://www.tonymacx86.com/99-quick-guide-configuring-uefi-gigabyte-s-7-series-lga-1155-boards.html) but that didn't fix the problem.

I also tried disabling the INTERNAL CPU PLL OVERVOLTAGE as stated here, as I was at one point running a relatively small overclock. (http://www.tonymacx86.com/overclocking/70877-overclocking-kills-wake-sleep.html)

Anybody got any ideas what I could try to fix this.

System Specs:

Z77X-UP5 TH
i7 3770k
EVGA GTX670
Corsair SSD
Genuine Apple bluetooth module (modded to usb)
Genuine Apple Wireless Keyboard & Mouse
Dell U2711 Monitor

Many Thanks

Charlie

Anybody got any ideas??

Could it be my system definition?
Currently it's running iMac12,3 (I think), would changing it to one of the mac pro definitions help?? Would anything break if I changed it just to see if it made a difference??

Cheers
