Hello friends,

Would really be curious if I could get some pointers for my setup:

Z10PE-D8 WS
2x Xeon E5 2699v4
128gb DDR4 2400Mhz ECC ram
Intel 750 SSD (I'd like to install on this)
iRST Raid 10 with 4x 10tb HDDs
Samsung 840 PRO SSD
RME HDSPe PCIE AES audio interface
Nvidia GTX 1080ti

I'm new to hackintoshing and from the looks of it, this setup is not very standard or friendly to newbies like me. I used Unibeast to create the Clover + Install USB and played a little with the Clover Configurator but couldn't get past the "> kernel mojave: 2 replaces done" and the 5 second pause afterwards.

Followed the guide for BIOS changes, but am unsure of UEFI settings. Tried with all UEFI on and CSM on but to no avail.

I suppose it would be easier if someone actually got this mobo / gfx card combo to work.

Any ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated :)

Best,
IonutZ

I'm not aware of any mac other than the mac pro's that have dual Xeon CPU's. Those however only support Xeon 56xx along with Intel 5520 chipset and DDR3. There is no mac that supports your hardware so there is no mac OS that supports it either.

I would hope that you are wrong, sir! There's an 18 page thread on my motherboard: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/solved-the-dreaded-asus-z10pe-d8-ws.200758/page-18 and someone seems to have figured it out, but they never posted their config files... I reached out, hopefully they'll reply.

You are wasting your time with Mojave as Nvidia have yet to release drivers for your GTX 1080ti.

High Sierra however should be ok.

This is most helpful, thank you. So you're saying that even if I find a way to go from High Sierra to Mojave (since apparently it's difficult to just install Mojave directly), I will be unable to use the same drivers that High Sierra uses for the 1080ti?

Well at least native 2k/4k will work, and when drivers are in, I should just be able to swap to latest. I suppose until then I can work on getting dual boot working and getting Mojave installed. The video you linked was super useful for getting HS on. Could you direct me to next steps to upgrading to Mojave from HS, or getting Mojave on Z10PE directly?
