Mojave : no display after monitor upgrade from FullHD to 1440p

Hello everyone,
I have recently bought a 1440p monitor to upgrade the previous malfunctioning FullHD monitor I used to use.

Unfortunately, it seems the computer does not send any video signal to the monitor.

Is there something I am supposed to change before I can use the 1440p monitor?

What port and cable do you use to connect the graphics card / port to the monitor?

If you were using DVI before and are trying to use DVI now, note that to use the full 2560x1440 resolution on your new monitor you will need a dual-link DVI cable. If you were using an old DVI cable then it won't work with your new monitor.

i have some opinions of that perhaps your monitor is not compatible with your system especifically mac os
