Mojave Install freezes on startup

Hi all!

I am trying to install Mojave on a machine that had a dual boot setup with Win10 and High Serria before. I want to keep the Windows partition but the Mac partition can go.

I setup a USB stick according to the Installation guide on this site. However the initial loading bar of the setup fills up after a long long time (>30 minutes) and nothing happens after.

If I enable the -v option the last two lines of my logs are:

Forceing CS_RUNTIME for entitlement: com.apple.rootless.installgetExceptionList: failed to open /private/var/db/SystemPolicyConfiguration/HardeningExceptions.plistCreating RAM Disk for /var/log

Initialized /dev/rdisk4 as a 5 MB case-insensitive HFS Plus volume

Nothing else in the logs seems to stick out as warning or error.
Any hints or tips what I could try?

Did you resolve your:

Initialized /dev/rdisk4 as a 5 MB case-insensitive HFS Plus volume

Perhaps you can recall 1/2 year ago. haha.

Is your RX480 an XFX model by any chance?
