Mojave freezes when DW1830 card connects to wifi network [XPS 9570]

Hi,

I've installed the DW1830 wifi card (BCM943602BAED) in my Dell XPS 15 9570.
The good news is that it worked OOB, and could see all the networks nearby without touching any kext or patch.
The bad news is that, as soon as I connect to any of these networks, Mojave freezes and I have to reboot my laptop...
I have successfully tested the wifi card on Windows 10 on a Dell Latitude 5280, so it's not a defective card.
I tried the following kexts: AirportBrcmFixup.kext (with Lilu.kext), BrcmPatchRAM2.kext, BrcmFirmwareData.kext and FakePCIID_Broadcom_WiFi.kext. This resulted in the same freeze.

My own conclusion says that the XPS 9570 has incompatible hardware, as I also can't get the card to work on windows 10 (****** thread)
The weird thing is that this guy did got his DW1830 working on his XPS 15 9570, so this makes my conclusion false...

Full laptop specs:
Dell XPS 15 9570 (2018)
Resolution: 1080p
CPU: Intel i7-8750h
GPU: NVIDIA Geforce 1050ti
Drive: 512GB NVMe SSD
Memory: 16GB DDR4

What can be the problem here?

@jaymonkey do you have any idea? You seem to have a lot of knowledge about the DW1830
