Boot time is around 30 to 45 seconds I would say. My write speeds are fine for my main drive the 500gb 970 pro , There is no real settings for the nvme in the bios its just there as a drive.

Just did a speed test and this is what I am getting.

Wow write speed is perfect  My boot speed is 25 to 33 seconds. But as I say before write speed is to low 600MB to 800MB. Are you using DSDT or SSDT? Could you please share your config without SMBIOS?

I have the same motherboard, CPU and graphics card as you. Can you share your clover file again? Thank you
[QUOTE = "telepati, post:1808482, member: 113665"] How fast is it? What is your writing speed? My write speed is always 600MB / 800MB and the read speed is 2000MB +. I have never found a solution for writing speed. What is the BIOS setting for NVME? [/ QUOTE]

LSP: Do you have a Samsung 960EVO? I was wondering if using it formatted in APFS on Mojave boots up faster than High Sierra does.

I have a 970. I replaced my 960 with it because of the posts I read about slow boot with 960 and apfs. Given that boot time is about the same. Mojave runs a little faster for me

Here we go my Clover folder. My kexts, SSDT's are also in it. My everything works.

Don't forget to toggle off Power Nap on Energy Saver otherwise your sleep won't work.

Question is...: should we throw our 960 EVO nvme to the garbage in order to upgrade to Mojave and have a decent boot time??
