Absolute noob here just trying to build his first ever hackintosh (even computer build) and struggling with choosing a mobo for mATX build.

I am following May 2017 buying guide. However, the recommended mobo Gigabyte z170MX Gaming 5 is discontinued and pricey.

Other components I've chosen are just same as in the buying guide. For example, EVGA 1060 SSC, 6700K and so on. Also I'm buying a Fenix Wifi card for handoff and continuity.

Can you guys recommend me a mATX mobo for EVGA 1060 SSC + Fenix Wifi card support?

P.s. I looked at all mobo list, however, having hard time choosing one.

Edit:

1. I've actually looked at the all mobos list recommended by May 2017 buying guide.
2. It's not Fenix. It's actually Fenvi

There are lots of other mATX boards listed in the Buyer's Guide - try this link, it will take you to the Motherboards section, then if you scroll down you'll get to the mATX list: https://www.tonymacx86.com/buyersguide/may/2017#Motherboards. You pretty much can't go wrong with any of them.
Hey nobodynose, thanks for your reply. Yep, I mentioned that I've actually looked at the list. Just did some research and found out that I need to choose a mobo which has 2 or more PCIe (x16) slots for making GPU+Fenix work. Am I right?

When you said something about "the recommended Gigabyte Z170MX Gaming 5", I thought you had only read the Buyer's Guide as far as the sample CustoMac mATX system. My apologies. I don't know what "Fenix" is, so I can't answer your question. But if you do need 2 PCIe x16 slots, here are a few that should work:

ASRock B150M Pro4: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157644
Gigabyte GA-B150M-D3H: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128862
Asus B150M-C/CSM: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813132643
ASRock Z170M Extreme4: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157675 (this one is in the Buyer's Guide)
Asus H170M-PLUS/CSM: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813132578 (also in Buyer's Guide)
Gigabyte GA-H170M-D3H-GSM: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=1JW-000J-00027

There are more, but they're more expensive.

Thank you so much for your time to give me a list of products. I apologize for not being clear about my situation. Oh god, why did I write Fenix? It's actually Fenvi. Sorry about this too, my bad.

Thank you so much for making it clear. Two mobos (Asus and ASRock) that included in the buying guide look very promising.
