Hi everyone.

I can't find anywhere mentioned if NVIDIA 10-series driver for MacOS is laptop-GPU compatible.
I greatly appreciate if anyone tested working!
I was using HP Probook 4330s as Hackintosh for 5-6 years, now I have a new toy for which I'm figuring out its compatibility.

ASUS GL502VSK laptop.
Intel HM175 chipset
Intel Core i7-7700HQ = not sure if works OOB or configuration as older Skylake will be required. BTW default Intel GPU is hardware disabled (since incompatible with integrated G-Sync display)
2x 8 GB PC4-19200 DDR4 SDRAM SK Hynix = compatible OOB
8 GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 (GP104M) = Is MacOs Pascal driver compatible with mobile graphics?
Intel Skylake PCH-H - High Definition Audio Controller = should work OOB
Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 AC 2x2 HMC WiFi Adapter = AppleIntelWiFiMVM driver available on GitHub
RealTek Semiconductor RTL8168/8111 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC = Realtek RTL8111/RTL8168 open source drive available on GitHub
ASMedia ASM1142 USB 3.1 xHCI Controller = there is USB 3.1 PCI express V2.0 card for sale with this chip and it works 100% under MacOS
240 GB System Corsair Force MP500 M.2 MVMe PCI-E SSD = IONVMeFamily.kext for non-Apple NVMe SSDs should make it work
525 GB Storage SATA 6Gb/s Crucial MX300 SSD = will work natively.

Thanks!

if your Intel Graphics can be disabled via BIOS, then yes, you can install the Nvidia drivers. if not, then you can only use Intel Graphics

your Intel Wifi won't work as that is not supported

Follow the Clover guide linked from the FAQ.

and read up on Kaby Lake CPU :)

Thank you feartech! NVIDIA GPU should work then. ASUS somehow managed to hardware disable Intel GPU, since it is incompatible with G-Sync display, so GTX 1070 works all the time (no Optimus switchable ability).

Will tell the result after installation.

the clover guide won't show you how to setup your Nvidia card though as the guide mainly focuses on Intel Graphics

you may want to check over

https://www.tonymacx86.com/forums/graphics.13/

after you have a working install of Sierra

also, if you need help afterwards or during, please update your hardware profile properly, 10.8.2 is not a mobo and HD3000 is Intel Graphics :)
