I could scarcely believe it, but with Mountain Lion on my machine, sleep is working correctly, and even the Bluetooth trackpad and keyboard are available after wake. With 10.7 I had to unplug the BT adapter and plug it back in after waking.
A few gotchas...I used Unibeast to upgrade over Lion, and had to remove all of the FameSMC plugins in order to boot. AppleHDARollback after that, and everything else seems to be working. The system feels like it is running slightly hotter than before, and the Geekbench is slightly lower, so I'm not 100% sure that P-states are being applied correctly, but that's what tuning is for, no?
Overall an easy upgrade.
