The GT 750 has native support, the GTX 750Ti is Maxwell and requires additional Nvidia drivers.

You keep getting the two mixed up! ;)

The 750 ti is listed as Kepler and there is a user or two with one reported working in Mojave. 950,960 is Maxwell.

Part of the 700 series family, rather than Kepler family. Nvidia is good at blurring the lines between models and spec. The GT 750 (Kepler) is being used by many people in Mojave. The GTX 750Ti would need some additional voodoo sauce to work with Kepler drivers.

"Turbocharge your gaming experience with the GeForce GTX 750 Ti. It’s powered by first-generation NVIDIA® Maxwell™ architecture, delivering twice the performance of previous generation cards at half the power consumption. For serious gamers, this means you get all the horsepower you need to play the hottest titles in beautiful 1080 HD resolution, all at full settings."

Nvidia’s Maxwell arrives today in two forms, both of which are mid-range, the GTX 750 and the GTX 750 Ti.

It seems that both are Maxwell.

Maybe as you say these are Chinese Kepler refresh cards? Or they mixed up the batches.

Not being familiar with nvidia cards much. If the NVS510 is Kepler (K107?) then does that mean it is fine for High Sierra and Mojave? Would it be a drop in replacement for a GT710 (ie. not change to clover etc?). Thanks in advance.

It would gain me 3 extra miniDP ports which would be good for multi monitor.

The NVS510 should run as it is Kepler - it only has 2GB RAM. There are other Kepler cards that you may wish to consider as the cost may be substantially lower.

Thanks for the confirmation. I have the chance to pickup an NVS510 (secondhand) for a price that is less than a new GT710. It is for desktop use only and the multiple outputs would be useful. It is capable of 4K as well which is a bonus. The fact it is natively supported is a big win for me. I tried an RX560 (triple the price) and couldn't get it working, and a P400 or similar is also 3-4x price and needs Nvidia drivers.
