Microphone in earpods dosen't work.

The speaker works perfectly, but the mic dosen't. I've installed ALC887/888b kext in Mutibeast, and the Sound appears like above.What's more, I insert my earpod in the green port.

My mistake, earpod uses a 4 pin connector. Motherboards have 3 pin connectors. Plug a 4 pin connector in a 3 pin output, get output sound, Plug a 4 pin connector into a 3 pin input, no mic. Need a 4 pin to 2x 3 pin adapter.

Experiencing this exact issue; I'm just a little confused with your explanation. Apologies, I just started working with my hackintosh so I'm a little new. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Buy an adapter to separate Mic from Headphone. Connect Mic to Pink and Headphone to Green.
