I have been running Yosemite for some time now with my memory running at 2400, then today I updated my bios from F10 to F11.
Loaded optimized defaults, and made the changes that I had made before and.. Yosemite won't boot. No kp, no error, just nothing.. it starts to boot and then hangs after just a few lines.
After a bit of trial and error I figured out that it was due to memory frequency settings, if I use any setting other then "auto" Yosemite won't boot.. before I had it at "profile 1"
Flashed F10 again and made the settings I had before, now that won't work either.. it's auto or no boot.
The thing is it ran perfectly at 2400 before, now I'm stuck at 1333 with no clue as to why.. this is driving me nuts.
Mb is Z87M-D3H, Corsair Vengeance Pro 2400Mhz, chimera bootloader
Anyone have any idea what I'm missing here/what's wrong?
