[Fixed] Memory Allocation Error After Running Multibeast
Hi all
I have been running ML since I build my Hackintosh about 2 years ago. I've had fears about updating my software because I didn't want to run into any problems that would sacrifice my data.
I finally took took the plunge to update to Yosemite. From what I have read the process from ML to Yosmite is very similar to the process from Mavs to Yosemite.
Here is what I've done so far...
1. Updated chameleon log and removed lines required
2. Installed Yosemite from USB
3. Restarted from USB and booted into system
4. Ran Multibeast with following settings:
a. Quick Start: No DSDT
b. Drivers: Disk>3rd Party SATA; Network>Intel>AppleIntelE1000a v3.1.0
c. Bootloaders: Chimera v4
d. Customize: 1080p Display Mode; Generate CPU states; GraphcEnabler=Yes; Hibernate Mode - Desktop; IGPEnabler=No; Use KeneralCache
5. Restarted and booted from system
6. Received the following errors
ERROR: dcbtable_version is 0x1
ERROR: nVidia ROM Patching Failed
Memory allocation error! Addr: 0x85a69e, Size: 0x4d60d, File: free, Line: 0
This is a non recoverable error! System halted!
I do not know what to do from this point. Do I need to remove my graphics card? Do I need to disable the onboard graphics? Or is my system a complete loss? I certainly hope not.
Hopefully someone out there knows!
Thanks!
UPDATE:
So... I disabled the onboard Intel graphics and this fixed my issue. I'm thinking the system was unable to understand which source to use and errored.
Hopefully this helps everyone else out too! Have fun with Yosemite!
